How are the Top100 rankings determined?

The Album Credits Top100 is a list of the top 100 professionals and performers, by number of credits on albums released (or re-released) in the past three years.

The Top100 lists can be filtered by both Specialty and Genre. Because the list is auto generated there can be some unexpected results. For example, due to re-releases, someone who died many years ago can be listed as a top performer of professional.
